Michelle Scarborough

Michelle Scarborough serves as the Managing Partner at BDC's Thrive Venture Fund and the Women in Technology Venture Fund, focusing on investing in disruptive technologies led by women. With a strong commitment to driving innovation, Michelle collaborates with entrepreneurs from seed to scale. Michelle is also a member of the Kauffman Fellowship Class 26, a program aimed at developing leaders in venture capital globally. As an investor and board director for multiple companies including Bridgit, Sheertex, Swift Medical, and BlueDot, Michelle actively contributes to enhancing technology solutions across various industries. Additionally, Michelle holds degrees from the University of Calgary in Biology and Communications, and completed the Institute of Corporate Directors Education Program at the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management.
