Ann Hackett

Ann Hackett, PhD, serves as the Chief Learning Officer, Executive Coach, Associate Professor, and Director of Academic Innovations at the UMKC Henry W. Bloch School of Management since July 2016. Additionally, Ann Hackett has held the position of Head of Central Exchange since September 2020 and serves as a Senior Learning, Development, and Talent Advisor for the Kauffman Foundation since January 2019. As President of HUMANROOT LLC, also established in July 2016, Ann Hackett provides human-centered solutions for business growth focused on behavioral science. Past roles include Senior Consultant at Colarelli, Meyer & Associates, Executive Director of Learning and Development at DineEquity, Inc., and Director/AVP of Organizational Effectiveness and VP of Talent Management at H&R Block. Ann Hackett began a career at Accenture as a Senior Manager in Human Performance, responsible for driving large-scale HR transformations for Fortune 500 companies. Academic credentials include a PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Kansas State University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Central Michigan University.
