Kayla Smalley

Kayla Smalley has a diverse work experience starting in 2012. Kayla began their career at Kansas State University, where they held various roles, including Writing Tutor and Community Assistant, until 2015. In 2015, they joined LUSH Cosmetics and worked as a Sales Ambassador and later as a Senior Sales Ambassador and Social Media Marketer until 2017. Kayla then transitioned to The Lean Lab, where they worked as a Marketing Consultant and Communications Coordinator VISTA for a brief period in 2016-2017. Since 2017, they have been with the Kauffman Foundation, initially working as a Digital Content Coordinator and then moving up to Senior Digital Content Coordinator in 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Digital Operations Specialist at the Kauffman Foundation.

Kayla Smalley attended Kansas State University from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English with a focus on Creative Writing.
