Salvador Ocampo Jr.

Salvador Ocampo Jr. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program leadership, human resources, and education. Currently serving as a Program Leader at the Kauffman Foundation since October 2019, Salvador guides over 31 school districts in providing authentic work-based learning experiences for 100,000 students while fostering community engagement in race, equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives. Previously, Salvador held roles as a Strategic HR Analyst at Emerson, where advisory support was provided to the Vice President of Human Resources for a workforce of 80,000 employees, and as an MBA Consultant at Emory University, focusing on leadership strategies for a local hospital system. Additional experience includes an HR Manager Internship at General Mills, teaching mathematics as a corps member with Teach For America, and corporate recruitment roles, demonstrating a strong commitment to workforce development and educational improvement.
