Harold James is an experienced professional with a diverse background in mentoring, leadership, and operations management. As a SCORE Certified Mentor since February 2017, Harold specializes in guiding individuals in starting and managing small businesses. Volunteer activities include ongoing contributions to the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts and AARP, where Harold served as Local Coordinator for the AARP Tax Aide program from September 2017 to August 2021, leading efforts to assist low-income and senior citizens with income tax preparation in Kansas City. Previous executive roles include Vice President of Operations Strategic Programs Management and Managing Director at Compass Minerals, as well as various senior leadership positions at Great Lakes Chemical Corporation. Harold's career began with sales, marketing, and supply chain roles at Olin. Harold holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
