Dawn Urso

Dawn Urso, MBA, BSN, RN, ACM, currently serves as the Assistant Vice President of Performance Improvement at Kaufman Hall since April 2024. Previously, Urso held the position of Vice President of Case Management at Optum from June 2022 to December 2023. Urso's extensive experience includes roles as the Population Health Services Director of Case Management at the University of Maryland Medical System and Vice President of Clinical Care & Wellness at Highmark Health, where responsibilities included overseeing a large team and managing medical operations across various programs. Earlier in the career, Urso served as the Regional Director of Care Management at Mount Carmel Health System and Director of Case Management at ValleyCare Health System, demonstrating a strong track record in operational leadership, process improvement, and management in healthcare settings. Urso holds an MBA in Health Care Administration from American Sentinel College and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kent State University.
