Alexandra Garro

Alexandra Garro is a director in Kaufman Rossin’s tax services practice where she leads a seasoned team of tax professionals and focuses on tax compliance, planning, structuring and consulting engagements. She has extensive experience working with high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, corporations and not-for-profit entities. She serves clients in a variety of industries, including real estate, manufacturing, agriculture, energy, and healthcare.

Alexandra leverages her experience to help clients solve their most complex tax challenges and identify tax planning opportunities. Her work covers a wide range of topics and includes federal and multi-state income tax, property tax, international tax, and tangible property.

Alexandra’s recent work has focused on applying advanced analytics to address complex tax questions. In this work, she has built models and client-ready tools to support tax efficiency. She has also utilized software to analyze large data sets to provide clients with detailed and actionable business insights to help their organizations plan for and navigate tax challenges. She also has expertise in other areas of tax compliance, including transfer pricing studies and tax planning for mergers and acquisitions involving foreign entities.

Before joining Kaufman Rossin in 2014, Alexandra gained more than eight years of tax experience working with domestic and international public companies, private businesses and non-profits.

Alexandra is a Certified Public Accountant in the States of Colorado and Florida and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
