Vlad Janov

Vlad Janov is a Director in Kaufman Rossin's tax department. He is experienced in providing federal, multi-state, and international tax compliance and consulting services to companies and individuals with concentration in private equity investments.

Vlad works with asset managers, onshore and offshore investors to help navigate through the ever-changing and complex federal, multi-state and international tax regulations.

He is a valuable consultant in the area of fund formation choice of entity, tax efficient structures, tax waterfalls, onshore and offshore feeder funds, foreign investor tax withholding, multi-state investor tax withholding, debt to equity capitalization, tangible property regulations, portfolio interest income exemption, new carried interest regulations, new interest deduction limitation regulations, and entity liquidation.

He serves clients whose investments include real estate holdings, real estate development, distressed debt, fund of funds, loans, nonmarketable securities, and tax lien certificates.
