Matti Pekkarinen

Matti Pekkarinen has extensive work experience in various roles within the machinery industry. Matti started their career in 2008 as a Research and Development Engineer at Konecranes, where they stayed for three and a half years. Matti then moved on to become a Business Development Manager at Konecranes' corporate headquarters, focusing on strategic planning and product portfolio development. Following that, they worked as a Maintenance Manager at Konecranes, overseeing service contracts and scheduling workload. Matti also served as a District Manager at Konecranes for both Southern Finland and Southern and Western Finland, where they were responsible for service business, P&L, and customer retention. Their most recent role was as Director of Sales and Business Development at Viafin Production Machine Service Oy, where they played a key role in ramping up the business of a new subcompany. Currently, they are the Head of Maintenance at Kaupunkiliikenne Oy.

Matti Pekkarinen obtained a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, where they studied from 2003 to 2008.
