Ville Tolvanen

Ville Tolvanen is an experienced professional in fleet management, currently serving as the Head of Fleet Management Projects at Kaupunkiliikenne Oy since March 2024, overseeing the procurement of metro vehicles for Helsinki. Prior to this, Ville held the position of Head of Fleet Management at VR Group from June 2021 to March 2024, where responsibilities included managing the procurement and delivery phases of commuter train acquisitions. With a solid background in fleet management at Finnair from May 2006 to June 2021, Ville excelled as a manager and project manager overseeing large-scale aircraft acquisition and phase-out projects, demonstrating strong leadership and project management skills. Ville holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Information Technology from Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, earned in 2015-2019.
