Esther Kreutz Hassinen

Esther Kreutz Hassinen is an experienced urban sustainability professional currently serving as the Urban Sustainability Coordinator at Kausal since August 2023. Previously, Esther held the position of Head of Secretariat for the Sustainable Cities Commission at the Union of the Baltic Cities from August 2022 to August 2023. Esther has also worked as a Senior Advisor for the City of Turku from 2019 to August 2023, and served as Project Coordinator for the Union of the Baltic Cities Sustainable Cities Commission from April 2014 to November 2022. Prior roles include Communication and Network Manager/Project Coordinator at the Union of the Baltic Cities Environment and Sustainable Development Secretariat, and various positions in project development, management, and communications related to sustainability initiatives. Esther's educational background includes a Diplom in Environmental Politics and Law, along with certifications in sustainability communications and the Net-Map method.
