Sonja-Maria Ignatius

Sonja-Maria Ignatius is the Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder at Kausal, working to provide cities with tools for climate action. Prior to this, she held roles such as Environmental Planner at Helsingin Kaupunkiympäristö and Planning Officer at Maa- ja metsätalousministeriö, where she worked on climate adaptation strategies. Sonja-Maria also has experience in research and internships related to environmental issues, showcasing her expertise in the field. She holds a Master of Science in Water and Environmental Engineering from Aalto University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Policy from University of Helsinki.
