Stephen Sprinkle

Stephen Sprinkle has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Stephen is currently working as a Staff Engineer at Kava Labs Inc. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Engineer at Niftys from April 2021 to November 2021. Stephen also served as a Senior Engineer + Engineering Manager at OPEN TO CLOSE from June 2019 to December 2020.

Stephen has significant experience in decentralized infrastructure and building performant clients backed by smart contracts and decentralized networks. Stephen worked as a Senior UI Architect + Engineering Manager at Augur Project from May 2016 to April 2018, where they played a key role in the design and buildout of Augur's pure dApp client.

Prior to that, Stephen worked as a Full Stack Engineer + Product Manager at ood labs from October 2014 to October 2017. Stephen was responsible for the conceptualization, design, development, deployment, and maintenance of various blockchain projects.

Stephen also has experience in cryptocurrency platforms. Stephen served as a UI Engineer + Product Manager at Elqnt from January 2012 to August 2014, where they led the conceptualization, product/project management, and front-end design/development.

Additionally, Stephen worked at Pi Squared Labs as a Mobile/Full Stack Engineer + Product Manager from August 2011 to January 2012. Stephen was involved in the product conceptualization, product/project management, and front-end design/development of a mobile donations application.

Stephen's early work experience includes being a Team Mentor (Hackstar) at TechStars from March 2011 to May 2011 and a Co-Founder, UI Engineer + Product Manager at UserMojo from February 2008 to November 2010. At UserMojo, they led a team of business development, front-end design, and back-end engineers and successfully raised seed funding from Boston area angel investors. UserMojo was a Techstars 2010 Boston company.

Stephen Sprinkle attended the University of Wyoming from 2004 to 2006, where they studied Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Management. Stephen then transferred to Suffolk University - Sawyer Business School and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Entrepreneurship from 2006 to 2008.
