Bora Tokyay has a wealth of experience in the energy sector. In 2008, they began their career as General Manager at Geomar Arabia. Bora then joined Peppers & Rogers Group as a Management Consultant in 2009. In 2010, they moved to Accenture as Manager of the Energy Practice. In 2014, they became General Manager at COREN Energy Trade & Retail Company. In 2015, they founded EnerjiniSeç, an online electricity provider switching services under hesapkurdu.com/elektrik. In 2016, they took on the role of Operations Director EMEA at Choice Technologies Holding Sàrl, where they developed an Agile Deployment Methodology and reduced time to Go-Live by more than 30%. In 2017, they joined Experian as Partnership Director. In 2019, they co-founded Tarentum AI. Currently, they are Co-Founder & CEO of Kavaken and Board Member of UAhero.

Bora Tokyay obtained a Master of Engineering in High Performance Structures from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2002. From 1997 to 2001, they attended Lafayette College, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil & Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in International Economics & Commerce. Bora attended Robert College from 1991 to 1997.
