Murat Yilmaz

Murat Yilmaz has extensive work experience in the energy industry. Murat began their career in 2007 as a Project Engineer for AKSA ENERGY PRODUCTION CO. In 2008, they became a Business Development Manager for South Pole Carbon Asset Management, where they were responsible for project management of the carbon emission reduction projects in Turkey and preparing Emission Reduction Purchase Agreements (ERPA). In 2010, they joined Vestas as a Senior Sales Manager, where they were responsible for the firm order of over 400MW Wind Projects in Turkey and identifying and following-up of new business opportunities for Wind Projects located in Turkey. In 2018, Murat became Regional Director Turkey & Middle East for Senvion. Most recently, they have been the Head of Business Development - Energy for Tarentum AI since 2020 and is currently the Head of Business Development for Kavaken.

Murat Yilmaz attended Kadıköy Anadolu Lisesi from 1994 to 2001, and then Sabanci University from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics Engineering.
