Narinder Singh Basran

Narinder Singh Basran has a diverse and extensive work experience in the gaming industry spanning over 25 years. Narinder'smost recent role is as the Lead Unity Developer at Kavalri Games since February 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Technical Lead at FunPlus from September 2020 to December 2022, where they were responsible for developing mobile puzzle games in Unity as well as managing and mentoring a development team.

Before joining FunPlus, Narinder worked at King as a Senior Developer & Development Manager from April 2017 to September 2020. Narinder then moved on to DIGIT, a Scopely Studio, as a Senior Client Developer from October 2015 to March 2017. Prior to that, they had a role as an Engineering Manager at SUPERHIPPO from October 2012 to September 2014, where they were responsible for hiring and managing a development team and implementing gameplay mechanics and new technologies.

Narinder gained valuable experience as a Senior Software Engineer Core Tech at PopCap Games from July 2011 to September 2012, supporting game teams and ensuring quality goals were met. Additionally, they served as a Lead Programmer at Full Fat from August 2006 to June 2011, where they scheduled programming tasks, evaluated risks, and ensured design and quality goals were achieved.

Earlier in their career, Narinder worked as a Gameplay Programmer at Eurocom from March 2002 to August 2006, implementing game design and collaborating with other disciplines to meet gameplay and quality objectives. Prior to that, they were a Games Programmer at Krisalis Software Ltd from August 1998 to November 2001, where they implemented game design, planned tasks, and delivered milestone requirements.
