Felipe Lemos

Felipe Lemos has been with Kawa Capital since its inception in September 2007. He currently serves as its Managing Director, Business Development. Prior to Kawa Capital, Felipe worked with European and Latin American investors in the South Florida real estate industry, cultivating expertise in commercial and residential real estate lending. In 2003, Felipe founded Caravelas Cigar, a premium cigar manufacturer in Brazil, which he sold in 2005. Prior to Caravelas, Felipe led Latin America and Europe expansion for the Brand Institute and was also responsible for several new product launches in the pharmaceutical and consumer products areas. Felipe holds a B.A. in history from Duke University (2000) focusing on Latin American Economic Development.
