Manuel Fernandes

Manuel Fernandes is a skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in the rail and technology sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Kawasaki Rail Car since May 2012, Manuel has progressed through various roles including Engineering Manager and System Integration Engineer. Prior to this, Manuel worked at Crestron Electronics as a Quality Engineer in the Controller Firmware Division, where responsibilities included testing firmware and developing test plans. Experience also includes a role as an RF Engineer at Lucent Technologies focused on UMTS Network Optimization, and work as an Assistant Field Supervisor at Precise Construction, Inc., handling blueprint interpretation and inventory management. Additionally, Manuel served as a Safety Instructor for NJ Transit early in their career. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, attained between 2000 and 2006.
