Alex Afshar

Alex Afshar is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in quality and reliability engineering. Currently serving as Director of Quality & Field Operations at Kawasaki Robotics since June 2018, Alex has progressed through various managerial roles in quality assurance. Previous positions include service as a Senior Quality and Reliability Engineer and Global Product Support Engineer at Applied Materials from May 2013 to June 2018, R&D Engineer and Lead Manufacturing Engineer at Space Systems Loral, and R&D Engineer at Tara Technologies. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Engineering/Industrial Management and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from San Jose State University, along with a Certificate of Achievement in Intercultural Communications from De Anza College.
