Samir Patel

Samir Patel serves as the Senior Director of Robotics Engineering at Kawasaki Robotics USA Inc., a position held since October 1995. With extensive experience in automation design, Samir previously worked as a Project Manager at Bloomfield Technical Services from May 1988 to September 1995, focusing on the automotive manufacturing, glass, foundry, and steel mill industries. Prior to that role, Samir was a Product Development Engineer at Susha Founders and Engineers in India from August 1984 to August 1987, specializing in mechanical, electrical, and control design for various casting and material handling automation systems. Samir holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Robotics and Controls from Wayne State University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Electronics Design and Technology from the Indian Institute of Science, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Calicut.
