Kathryn (Katy) Brown is an experienced marketing professional and content creator with a diverse background in freelance writing and law firm marketing. As the Managing Member and Owner of The Write Word, LLC since June 2006, Kathryn has generated published articles in various prominent outlets, including West Virginia newspapers and USA Today. Currently serving as the Director of Marketing and Law Firm Marketing Consultant at Kay Casto & Chaney PLLC since August 2014, responsibilities include implementing marketing strategies and managing public relations for attorneys. Previous roles include Contributing Writer for the Charleston Daily Mail, where a lifestyle column received award nominations, and a publicist for Steptoe & Johnson PLLC. Kathryn also held marketing leadership positions at Jackson Kelly PLLC and managed alumni relations at the University of Charleston while earning a master's degree. Kathryn holds a BA in Mass Communications and an MS in Human Resource Management from the University of Charleston.
