Kayak Ice Cream

"Kayak Ice Cream" is a renowned Greek company that for almost three decades has been operating in the field of ice cream and desserts production. It all started back in 1993 when the owner, Mr. George Stavridis and his family, decided to change the perception of ice cream once and for all and they succeeded! Kayak’s ice cream is produced in Greece, using the purest raw materials such as fresh Greek milk, fresh cream, real fruit and nuts. Up until now the collection consists of more than 80 unique flavors, based on the latest gastronomy trends of the world market: savory ice cream, infused with alcohol, with rare spices... Τhe business has been passed over to the owner's children, Akis Stavridis and Salome Stavridou who are in charge of its successful management along with Mr. Stellios Xenakis. The company’s moved its facilities in Koropi in 2000. In 2009 Kayak rennovated and expanded its facilities in Koropi covering 3000 m2 and the factory was designed and equipped according to the latest technology standards and followed strict hygienic specifications. Despite the uncertainty of the pandemic, “Kayak Ice Cream” has followed an expansion strategy with the acquisition of Chillbox, an innovative frozen yogurt chain that started dynamically in 2011 with 41 stores in Greece and 10 abroad and that of Goat It, an ice cream production unit in Crete that produces ice cream with 100% Cretan goat's milk. Moreover, Kayak Ice Cream is focusing on international expansion, with export activities in USA, China, the United Arab Emirates, Cyprus and Germany. “Kayak Ice Cream” is available in 14 Luxury Boutiques, but can also be found in selected 5* hotels, upper class restaurants and cafeterias as well as delicatessen and super markets all over Greece. Recently the company launched an e-shop, while most of its Boutiques are delivering its awarded flavors at home through food delivery companies.
