Karina Lærke Vergo

Karina Lærke Vergo has extensive work experience in the field of performance marketing. Karina Lærke is currently working as a VP of Performance Marketing at KAYAK, where they manage a team of over 25 people and oversees search, display, social, and video buying for KAYAK, momondo, and 7 other portfolio brands globally. Their responsibilities include marketing strategy, budgeting, target setting, performance analysis, recruitment, employee training, and collaboration with brand and region teams. Prior to their current role, Karina served as a Senior Director of Performance Marketing at KAYAK and managed a team of 15 people, focusing on display, social, video, app, and email channels for all KAYAK brands. Karina Lærke also has experience as the Head of Display Advertising and Data Management Platforms at momondo, as well as various search-related roles at Resolution Denmark and Omnicom Media Group. Karina's career began as a Marketing Assistant at EG Kommuneinformation A/S and they also worked as a Studentermedhjælper at Danica Pension.

Karina Lærke Vergo obtained a Master's degree in Strategic Management from Copenhagen Business School in 2015. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in International Business Communication from Copenhagen Business School between 2006 and 2011. Karina Lærke also received a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree from Hamburg University of Applied Science in 2009. Karina completed their secondary education at Frederiksborg Gymnasium, specializing in Mathematics from 2003 to 2006. In addition to their academic qualifications, they obtained certifications in Display Advertising Advanced, Google Advertising Fundamentals, Google Search Advertising Advanced, and Google Analytics Certified from Google in 2014.
