Richard Jordan

Search Consultant at Kaye/Bassman International

Dr. Jordan brings significant experience in higher education, both as an instructor and administrative leader. While at Parker University, he was the Director of Total Rewards and Employee Relations. He worked with the faculty and staff to encourage an engaging working environment that supported the values and principles of the university. Richard served the employees at the University of Texas at Dallas through great customer service in benefits, recruiting, training and connecting with faculty members as their benefits administrator. During this part of his career he focused on encouraging a workplace that enabled employees to become fully engaged in their schools. Richard has also taught a Leadership in Education course as an adjunct at a graduate level at Lubbock Christian University.

Richard has served over a decade in the HR industry outside of Higher Education. He has worked in an administrative and key leadership positions. As a HR leader he sought to provide quality leadership and an environment that was open to the needs of the employee and the goals of the organization. He worked with Benefits, Finance, Accounting, Customer Management, and Employee Development.

As a minister, for over 15 years, he led large groups of educators and leaders. Richard’s work focused on adult education, leadership, and organizational development. This allowed him to develop his own leadership and active listening skills, the ability to work with a vast array of people, and his passion for helping people find their right fit that meets their own passions. Employers and candidates appreciate Richards’ transparency and communication in the candidate search process. Richard has continued a high standard of customer service at Kaye/Bassman, by building genuine relationships with his candidates and clients.

Richard’s understanding of business, people and recruitment is supported by his Doctor of Ministry, focused on Leadership and Organizational Development, his Master of Divinity/Master of Science from Abilene Christian University and his Bachelor of Arts from Lubbock Christian University.
