Charleen KEMPS

Charleen Kemps has a diverse work experience in various roles. Charleen worked at Kayentis from 2018 to the present as a Software Designer/Developer, responsible for technical phases of product development in collaboration with project managers. Charleen also worked as a Parametrization Developer, participating in project specifications and defining technical architecture.

Prior to that, Charleen worked at OSUG - CNRS from 2017 to 2018 as a JAVA Development Engineer, where they developed software for astronomical observations. Charleen'sresponsibilities included studying data documentation, improving data models, implementing new features in Java, and participating in testing and open-source code projects.

Charleen also gained experience as a Bioinformatics Engineer during their internship at LINA/IRHS in 2015, where they worked on programming and using software for Genome-Wide Association Studies (GWAS) on apple genotyping data. Charleen compared the efficiency of the results.

In 2014, Charleen had a bioinformatics internship at the Institut du thorax, where they analyzed and corrected biological results. Charleen worked on improving the analysis of genotyping data, testing alternative algorithms, and implementing visualization tools to evaluate the effectiveness of different approaches.

Following this, from 2013 to 2015, they pursued their Master's degree in Bioinformatics at Nantes Université, further expanding their knowledge in this field.
