Rodrigo Bermúdez

Rodrigo Bermúdez is a highly experienced metallurgist currently serving as Master Metallurgist at KAZ Minerals since August 2024, focusing on process improvement and advanced process control across various metallurgical operations. Previously, Rodrigo held significant leadership roles, including Jefe de Metalurgia at Teck Resources Limited, where oversight of a team of 35 and complete metallurgical control of the concentrator plant was essential. Earlier roles include Senior Metallurgist at First Quantum Minerals and Superintendent of Process Control at Caserones Lumina Copper, where responsibilities encompassed leading process control engineers and developing advanced control systems. With a foundational career starting at SCM El Abra, Rodrigo has extensive expertise in operational improvements, quality reliability, and metallurgical reporting, complemented by a degree in Civil Metallurgical Engineering from Universidad de Santiago de Chile.
