Serikzhan Akhmetzhanov

Serikzhan Akhmetzhanov has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Serikzhan started their career as an intern at the East Kazakhstan Regional Bar Association in 2014. Later that year, they worked as a lawyer at the Republican State Enterprise Enbek Oskemen and then at the Office of Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk. In 2015, they transitioned to become a Chief Specialist of the Administrative section at the East Kazakhstan Department of Education Control. In 2016, they joined the Department of Construction Architecture and Urban Planning of the East Kazakhstan region as a Chief Specialist of the Legal section. Serikzhan's most recent position is the Chief Specialist of the Legal Control Section at KAZ Minerals, where they have been working since October 2017.

Serikzhan Akhmetzhanov obtained a Bachelor's degree in Law from East Kazakhstan Regional University between 2008 and 2011. In addition to their degree, they have received certifications in Sanction Compliance from ICCP, ISO 31000 Standart Certified Risk Manager from PECB in 2020, and Lead Implementation Specialist ISO 37001 Standart from PECB in February 2019.
