Suresh Kumar

Suresh Kumar has over 17 years of experience in the metallurgy field. SURESH most recently worked as the Chief Metallurgist at KAZ Minerals since September 2019. Prior to that, they were a Senior Metallurgist at Barrick Gold Corporation for 7 years. Suresh also held the position of Process Superintendent, Mineral Processing at Makrov Mining - Europe from 2009 to 2012. SURESH started their career as a Senior Metallurgist at The Hutti Gold Mines Company Limited in 2002.

Suresh Kumar completed their M.Tech degree in Metallurgy from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka from 2000 to 2002. SURESH then pursued another M.Tech degree in Mineral Processing from Gulbarga University, Nandihalli from 1997 to 2000. Later, Suresh attended the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad from 2010 onwards and focused on Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management. Additionally, they obtained certification in ISO 14001 Lead Auditor Course from ICL Certifications Limited in 2006.
