Vladimir Ivanov

Vladimir Ivanov is an accomplished academic and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the field of intelligent search technologies and text analytics. Currently serving as an Associate Professor and Senior Researcher at Innopolis University since July 2015, Ivanov also co-founded Textocat, a middleware facilitating text analytics application development. As the Head of the Intelligent Search Technologies Department at Kazan Federal University since June 2005, responsibilities include fundraising, teaching, and supervising research activities. Ivanov has participated in over 20 national and international Research and Development projects focusing on ontologies, natural language processing, and related fields. Previous roles include Visiting Researcher at the National University of Science and Technology "MISIS" and researcher positions at the Institute of Informatics and the Centre for Information Technologies of the Republic of Tatarstan, where Ivanov managed IT initiatives for cultural heritage. Ivanov holds a specialist degree in Computational and Applied Mathematics from Kazan State University.
