John Friend

John Friend has a diverse work experience in the medical and scientific field. John is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Kazia Therapeutics Limited since May 2023. Prior to this role, they were the Chief Medical Officer at Cellectar Biosciences, Inc. from November 2021 to May 2023. John also held the position of Chief Medical Officer at Cellectar Biosciences, Inc. from July 2020 to November 2021 and at DRGT-USA from November 2018 to July 2020. John Friend has also worked at Helsinn Therapeutics as the Senior Vice President of Medical & Scientific Affairs from January 2017 to April 2017. John Friend attended Southern Methodist University from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Chemistry. John then pursued further education at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School from 1992 to 1996, earning their MD degree.
