Spence Thompson has worked in the gaming industry since 2011. Spence began their career as a Game Programmer at WayForward Technologies, where they were responsible for developing AI systems, enemy and player mechanics, and working with Unity3d, Infernal, Engine Black, and WFengine. In 2015, they joined GSN (TV & Games) as a Senior Software Engineer, where they served as the main engineer in creating, deploying, and using the system SlotBuilder while simultaneously creating its first two slot title games. Spence also coordinated with contractors as the main support engineer during their time in SF office to finalize multiple slot titles and was the key engineer in GSN's first major Unity upgrade from version 4. In 2017, they joined NetEase North America as a Lead Engineer and Senior Software Engineer. In 2019, they moved to Cosmic Forces as a Lead Engineer. Spence currently works at Kazoo Games as a Lead Engineer.
Spence Thompson attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Game Design and Development.
