Paul Andrew is a seasoned professional in the creative arts sector, currently serving as a Creative Associate at Mercury Theatre since October 2022. With extensive experience in various roles, Paul has been a facilitator for Tender and Emergency Exit Arts since November 2018 and March 2017, respectively, and has contributed as a Creative Facilitator at Kazzum Arts from November 2019. Additionally, Paul has operated as a self-employed storyteller since July 2010 and held the position of Story Builder at Discover Story Centre until July 2021. Previous roles include Creative Associate at MakeBelieve Arts, Lead Artist at Theatrebugs, Performer/Facilitator at Theatre of Inspiration, and Drama/Music Facilitator at Harigey Shed. Paul holds a BA HONS in Community Theatre from East 15, earned between 2007 and 2010.

Kazzum Arts
All children and young people can experience hope through creativity. Kazzum Arts uses creativity to enable children and young people who have been impacted by trauma and adversity to feel seen, heard and valued. We do this by providing opportunities to explore creative expression and agency through multidisciplinary arts activities. Our work focuses on four key areas: Pathways - Engages young asylum-seekers, refugees and migrants aged 14-25 in creative wellbeing projects and training. Build - Uses the arts to develop relationships, emotional literacy and communication skills of young people aged 12-16 excluded from mainstream education. Speech Bubbles – A creative intervention using drama to support primary school children aged 5-7 with Speech, Language and Communication Needs. Apollo - Taking place, on children’s wards, using combined arts processes to increase the wellbeing of children under 16 who are undergoing healthcare and mental health interventions.
