Dave Simons

Dave Simons is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in both corporate and litigation environments. Serving as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at KB Home since July 1998, Dave oversees a team of 3-5 in-house counsel, manages FAS 5 reserve reporting, provides HR counseling, and handles government investigations while regularly reporting to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors. Prior to this role, Dave worked as a litigation associate at Cooper, White & Cooper LLP from August 1992 to June 1998, specializing in real estate, construction, employment, intellectual property, and general commercial litigation. Dave holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Davis and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the same institution.
