Lance Evans, CPM, STR has over 30 years of work experience in various roles. Lance started their career in the United States Air Force as a Non Commissioned Officer, where they served as a Security Forces Leader and Training Coordinator. Lance held a Top Secret Security Clearance and specialized in N.B.C. Lance was responsible for Entry Control, response, and alarm monitoring. After leaving the Air Force, Lance worked for the City of Remsen as the Mayor for four years. Lance then transitioned to the State of Iowa - Executive Branch, where they served as the Major of Special Operations, managing the Safety Audit program and Hazardous Materials Enforcement program. Additionally, they were the State Safety Analyst for Data Review and had experience in statistical analysis and training. Following their time with the State of Iowa, Lance worked at Great West Casualty Company as a Senior Safety & Loss Control Representative, where they conducted investigations, assessed operations for safety and loss prevention practices, and conducted safety meetings and educational programs. Currently, Lance is the Director of Safety at K&B Transportation, where they ensure compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and maintains a strong CSA record. Lance handles accident prevention, OS&D procedures, and legal matters. Overall, Lance has a strong background in safety, compliance, and operations management.

Lance Evans, CPM, STR has a diverse education history, starting with their high school diploma from Aurelia High School in 1985. Lance went on to attend Morningside University from 1985 to 1987, where they studied Criminal Justice.

In 1990, Lance completed a Certificate in Military Leadership from the Air Force NCO Academy. Lance continued their education in law enforcement by attending the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy in 1995, where they obtained their Law Enforcement Certification.

Following their law enforcement training, Lance pursued certification as a Certified Public Manager at Drake University from 2007 to 2008. Lance also obtained a Public Management certification from the same institution in 2008.

In 2010, Lance graduated from the F.B.I. Law Enforcement Executive Development (L.E.E.D.S) School.

Lance has also obtained various additional certifications throughout their career. These include being a Proctor of the MMPI-2 and POST Tests through the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy in 2011. Lance also holds certifications such as North American Standard Part B Instructor, Trained Expert in Accident Management from the Minnesota State Patrol, Cargo Tank Inspection, General Hazardous Materials, and North American Standard Inspection Part A and Part B, all obtained from the National Training Center.

Furthermore, Lance has additional military certifications, such as Air Base Ground Defense, Air Force Police Academy, and Basic Training, obtained from the United States Air Force and United States Army.
