CJ Bowles began his commercial real estate career in 2005 through a college summer internship with CBRE in San Francisco, giving him something to do during the day as he was brought to the Bay Area by MLB.com to cover the beat of the San Francisco Giants and Oakland A’s. After three seasons with MLB.com, CJ decided he wanted his nights and weekends back, so he joined CBRE in Seattle fulltime. During the next eight years, CJ worked with an investment sales team and then represented landlords and tenants in the office sector. CJ became deeply involved in the Seattle commercial real estate community while at CBRE, including serving a four-year term on the Washington State NAIOP Board of Directors. In 2014, CJ joined Northwest Retail Partners where he was part of a two-person master brokerage team that helped lead new store growth and managed the existing store portfolio for Nordstrom across the US as well as Dick’s Sporting Goods in the Western US.
