Siegfried Top

Siegfried Top is an experienced investment strategist at KBC Asset Management since January 2015, specializing in equity sector analysis, cross-asset research, and responsible investing solutions. Siegfried coordinates the equity focus team and serves as secretary of the asset management investment committee, also engaging in research on AI integration in investment strategies. Prior to this role, Siegfried worked at KBC Bank from 2010 to 2014 as an economist focused on macroeconomic analysis and EU institutional development. Siegfried began a career in academia as a researcher at KU Leuven, contributing to a PhD project in Business Economics and serving as editor for the Review of Business and Economics. Educational qualifications include multiple master's degrees in Business Economics, Management, International Relations, and a licentiate in Modern History from KU Leuven.
