David Brown

David Brown is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in biopharma, particularly in downstream process development. Since May 2017, David has held multiple leadership positions at KBI Biopharma, including Associate Director and Principal Scientist, where responsibilities include managing process characterization and supporting scale-up and tech transfer. Prior roles involved significant contributions to process development and cell line development, demonstrating strong technical leadership. David's prior research experience encompasses postdoctoral roles at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Emory University School of Medicine, focusing on proteotoxicity in heart disease and novel Nox4 inhibitors, respectively. David holds a Ph.D. in Molecular and Systems Pharmacology from Emory University and a BA in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
