Harrison Goonewardene is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in research, project management, and academic support. Currently serving as a Research Assistant at Gall Lab, Pratt School of Engineering, Harrison focuses on the structure-property relationships of 3D-printed polymers for orthopedic implants, including studies on antibiotic-eluting spacers. As Project Manager for the POCUS Research Compendium, Harrison oversees the development of a resource aimed at enhancing clinical skills in remote settings. Previous experience includes a role as Faculty Assistant at Dominican University, supporting medical studies, and participation in the Husky Leadership Academy at the University of Washington, where Harrison received training in leadership and team management. An injury ended Harrison's athletic career as a scholarship pitcher, leading to a position as a Student Assistant Coach. Harrison holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor's degree in Medical Science.
