John Ferrero

John Ferrero has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. John is currently working at KBI Biopharma as the Director and IT Site Lead in Geneva, where they built the IT infrastructure and business systems for a new biotech facility in Switzerland. John also provided IT services to new employees and led IT support for an analytical lab in Belgium.

Prior to their current role, John worked at Celgene, where they held multiple positions including Associate Director, IT Business Partner, Senior Manager of IT Quality & Compliance, and IT Validation Lead. In these roles, they managed IT projects, defined requirements with business leaders, selected vendors, and ensured compliance with regulatory requirements.

Before Celgene, John served as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at PCAS, where they developed an IT roadmap and action plan aligned with corporate strategy. At Sorin CRM, they were the IT Director and oversaw the overhaul of supply chain processes and the implementation of an ERP system. At Affinity Petcare, they were the IT Manager for France and led the rollout of an ERP system and the integration of manufacturing systems.

John began their career at PwC Consulting as a Manager and later worked at OTOR as a Project Manager, where they delivered the implementation of an ERP system and developed a system to measure product value to customers.

Overall, John Ferrero has demonstrated expertise in IT leadership, project management, and compliance, with a track record of successfully implementing IT solutions and driving operational improvements across various industries.

John Ferrero has a Master's Degree in Management Information Systems from ESCP Business School (1990-1991) and a Graduate Degree in Information Technology from EFREI - Grande école du numérique (1986-1989). John also attended Latymer Upper School for high school (1977-1978). Additionally, they have several certifications including Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. (obtained in November 2019), Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) from Scrum Alliance (obtained in June 2019), ITIL IT Service Management from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT (obtained in 2014), and Management Fundamentals from Cegos (obtained in 2009).
