Ka Carl Zhang

Ka Carl Zhang is an experienced Process Development Scientist with a strong background in biomanufacturing and biomedical engineering. Currently employed at KBI Biopharma since March 2015, Zhang has held various positions, including Senior Research Associate and Research Associate. Prior experience includes a research role as an MS Researcher at the NCSU BTEC Gurgel Lab from October 2012 to August 2014, focusing on the optimization of expression systems for short chain antibody fragments in CHO cells. Zhang holds a Master of Science in Biomanufacturing from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University.
