Andrew Burr

NASA EVA Flight Controller and Crew Instructor

Andrew Burr is currently a member of the NASA EVA Operations Task Group at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. They provide human spaceflight support by training crew members, developing extravehicular activities (EVAs), and serving as a flight controller for the International Space Station program. Previously, Andrew worked as a Powerplant Engineer at Allegiant, where they automated engine health monitoring and managed aircraft maintenance. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical Engineering from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and a Master of Science from the University of Southern California. Their career goal is to become a leader in the aerospace community by enhancing processes and systems.
