Carey Gent

Carey Gent is a seasoned professional with extensive leadership experience in strategic program management and infrastructure solutions, currently serving as Senior Director of Strategy & PMO at KBR, Inc. since October 2017. In this role, Carey is responsible for overseeing strategy, digital transformation, and operational groups, while also leading the Infrastructure Solutions Australia sector focused on water, energy, resources, and sustainability. Prior roles at KBR include managing project management and construction services, as well as resources consulting. With a strong background at Orica, where Carey served as Vice President of Safety, Health, Environment & Security, and held various project management roles, Carey has a proven track record in driving organizational change and delivering large-scale projects. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science from Monash University, along with additional leadership training from the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the London Business School.
