Jiar Meagher

Jiar Meagher is a Propulsion Engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace industry, currently employed at KBR, Inc. since September 2020, where responsibilities include developing algorithms for flight software, managing propulsion system requirements, and documenting system designs for the Space Launch System's Exploration Upper Stage in collaboration with The Boeing Company. In an acting capacity as Main Propulsion System Lead at Boeing from May 2023 to January 2024, Jiar led a team in the development of rocket propulsion systems, ensuring that products met customer specifications. Previous roles include serving as a Propulsion Engineer at Firefly Aerospace, where Jiar contributed to engine development and performance tuning, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The University of Alabama, gaining hands-on experience in space propulsion testing. Jiar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics from The University of Alabama.
