Sandra K. Moore

Sandra K. Moore, Ph.D., is a CapCom/EVA Specialist Flight Controller at NASA JSC with KBR, Inc., currently leading EVA operations and astronaut training for the International Space Station. With a background in mechanical engineering, Sandra has worked at prestigious organizations including Halliburton and United Space Alliance, where significant contributions to human spaceflight and EVA training were made. They have also served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at UTMB since 2011, developing educational programs for aerospace medical students. Sandra earned both a Master’s and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston, where they graduated with honors.
