Dakota Bayer has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. They started their career as a Front End Associate at Festival Foods in 2012, where they provided exceptional customer service and earned recognition for their performance. In 2014, they joined the U.S. Coast Guard as a Fireman, responsible for maintaining and completing periodic maintenance on various marine engines and sailing thousands of nautical miles. They also served as an Avionics Electrical Technician, inspecting, servicing, and troubleshooting avionics and electrical systems on MH-65D helicopters. After leaving the Coast Guard in 2019, they worked as a Snowboard Instructor at Hurricane Ridge Winter Sports School, teaching both adults and children the basics of snowboarding. In 2021, they joined the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh as a Windows Systems Administrator, where they automated software deployments and maintained the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure. Recently, they worked at Pierce Manufacturing as an Application Developer, developing a web application to support sales using front-end and back-end technologies. Dakota will be joining KBX as a Software Engineer in 2023.
Dakota Bayer attended the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh from 2020 to 2023, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA degree with a focus on Information Systems and an emphasis in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Dakota also obtained several certifications from LinkedIn.
