Allan Wilson

Allan Wilson is an experienced Rig Manager and Rig Optimisation Engineer currently working at Turan Drilling and Engineering Company since May 2019, with a longstanding tenure at KCA Deutag starting in January 2011. Throughout various roles at KCA Deutag, including Rig Optimisation Engineer and Well Control & Simulator Instructor, Allan has focused on enhancing rig performance and implementing performance improvement initiatives, particularly for BP ACG Automated Platforms. Previous positions include Technical Limit Coach, Shift Supervisor, and Driller (Cyber), where Allan supervised drilling operations and contributed to safety and efficiency improvements. Allan began a career in 2001 at KCA Deutag as an Assistant Driller after completing education at Buckie High School.
