Mia Fernandez

Mia Fernandez started their work experience at PR Newswire in 1999 as a Senior Account Manager, where they grew and managed accounts and relationships with C-Suite professionals in Investor and Public Relations. Mia also assisted in new hire training and bridged the gap between sales and operations. In 2006, they moved to KCRW, where they initially served as a Senior Account Director before becoming the Head of Sponsorship. In their current role, they lead the corporate sponsorship sales team and manages relationships with the business community to generate financial support for KCRW programming.

Mia Fernandez completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science/Economics at UC San Diego. Following this, Mia pursued a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) degree in Gender Politics from the University of Bristol.
