Colin Haverty has a diverse work experience that spans several years. Colin started their career in 2012 as an Assistant English Teacher at Interac, where they supervised the training of teachers and performed HR duties. In 2015, they joined Parkwest Construction as an Assistant Superintendent, where they gained experience in tenant improvement renovations and managed day-to-day field operations. In 2017, they moved to CASCO Contractors as a Project Engineer and later became a Senior Project Engineer, working on tenant improvement renovations for commercial construction projects. Currently, Colin works as an Assistant Project Manager at KDC Construction.
Colin Haverty earned a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from California State University-San Bernardino, attending from 2006 to 2010. In 2009 to 2010, they studied abroad at Waseda University, where they focused on Japanese Language and Literature. Apart from their formal education, Colin has obtained several certifications, including becoming a Procore Certified Associate from Procore Technologies in June 2017. Colin also completed OSHA 30 Hour Training for Construction from the US Department of Labor OSHA in April 2017. In December 2012, Colin achieved Japanese Language Proficiency Test level 3 through the Japan Educational Exchange and Services. Additionally, they received a General Building Contractor (Class B) license from the Contractors State License Board in October 2021. Finally, in September 2015, Colin obtained a First Aid and CPR/AED certification from the American Safety & Health Institute.
