Satoshi Konishi

Satoshi Konishi serves as the Executive Vice President and Head of the Advanced Technology Research Center at KDDI Research Inc. since April 2014, with prior roles including Deputy Head of the Mobile Technology Division and General Manager of both the Next Generation Network Development Department and Mobile Access Technology Development. Having begun at KDDI R&D Laboratories Inc. in 2004, Satoshi Konishi held positions such as Senior Manager of the Communications Network Planning Lab and Head of the Wireless Communications System Laboratory, focusing on research and standardization for LTE, LTE-Advanced, and 5G technologies. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Waseda University, a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Electro-Communications, and an MBA from GLOBIS University.
