Takuya Sawada

Takuya Sawada is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in telecommunications, currently serving as Senior Director and Deputy Head of the Network Node Technology Division at KDDI Corporation since April 1994, where responsibilities include the development of Mobile Core Networks, RAN, and Voice Telecommunications Networks. Additionally, Takuya has held various leadership roles within the company, including General Manager positions focused on New Business Development and Advanced Technology Research, along with a background in network planning and international telephony service maintenance. Takuya is also a member of the Board of Directors for the O-RAN ALLIANCE and has previously served on the boards of Gunosy and Connehito. Takuya holds a Master of Science in Telecommunications from Columbia University and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of Tokyo.
